ATV and Dirt Bike Trails
Trails are open to everyone
Trails are all 1-way travel; beginning and ending at the Trailhead and are marked with colored arrows to
guide you through the trails based on your riding ability. There are over 41 miles of technical and
challenging trails through the Majestic Allegheny Mountains. The trails are very well marked with colored
codes arrows, so a map is not required to navigate through the trails. Trail signage will even give you a
shortcut back to your vehicle.
Out on the trails you will find mud holes/mud bogs. If there is no sign saying to ‘Stay Out’, then you’re
welcome to play. Depending on the recent weather conditions, the trails could be dusty, muddy, icy or
snowy.
During the winter months, please call for trail conditions. At times, extreme amounts of ice/snow make the
trails impassable.
If you want a map, click Here to print. We don’t always have a map on hand.
Trail Signage:
Green = Intermediate
Blue = Advanced
Black = Expert
Pink = “Easy Back” or shortcut back to the trail-head
Orange = single bike track (dirt bikes only)
Along the trails you will also see caution signs such as ‘steep hill’, ‘sharp turn’, or ‘bumps’. However not
all the ‘bumps’ are marked. The ‘bumps’ are water bars designed to control erosion. We stress that you
use caution on the ones going downhill as they have a lip at the peak, designed to divert water, but can
cause you to wreck if you don’t use proper precaution.
For emergency purposes, there are also ‘mile-marker’ signs throughout the trails, which correspond with
the trail map. These mile-markers make it possible to find you in any event that you need assistance. An
on-site EMT is prepared to stabilize you while Emergency Medical Services are on their way.
Adult Motocross:
Adult Motocross is challenging for practice or just for fun. It is about 1-mile long with several tabletops, singles and doubles. This track was designed for safety. ATV’s and dirt bikes are both welcome to use the motocross track.
Peewee Motocross:
The Peewee Motocross is located at the trailhead for easy supervision by parents. It is small but the little ones love it. They keep going & going, just like energizer bunnies! On this MX, it teaches them skills that they will need when they are ready for the trails.
Single Track (Dirt Bikes Only):
The Single Track is 15 miles long with 2-way travel, creating twice as many miles. These trails meander
through the woods offering a new challenge to dirt bike enthusiasts. These trails are very technical with off
cambers, roots, rocks and aggressive elevation changes that are designed to push the limits of the rider
and their dirt bike.
Trail Grooming:
Trails are Groomed on a regular basis. Upkeep of the trails and erosion control provides the ultimate
riding experience.
Proceed with caution: Riders can help prevent ruts by NOT riding in the same path as the one in front of
you (especially freshly groomed trails). Try to straddle tracks when possible.
By following the trail signage and rules, riders can help keep the trails in compliance with erosion
regulations.
